Inserted in the scope of QREN (National Estrategic Reference Board) through the Technological Research and Development Incentive System (SI & DT), NISIM aims at to explore synergies and the multidisciplinary perspectives delineated under the theme " Man-Machine Interaction".

The technological solution is based in state of the art technologies allowing this way a longer lifetime to the system with reduced maintenance requirements. The proposed architecture of the system also allows it's extension and portability to other operating systems if required during it's life cycle.
